Dept. as my specialization is in this branch. Mechanical & machine are synonyms and are applicable to all branches of engineering. Presently all branches are interconnected, looking at this we have a new subject in mechanical engg. i.e. MECHATRONICS (Mechanical + Electronics + Computer) without which the present day machines cannot be constructed.
